When you share your Outlook calendar with people, they're able to add it directly to their calendar view in Outlook. Depending on the permission you give them, they can view your calendar or edit it.

You can choose from several different permission levels when sharing your calendar.
Can view when I'm busy: |
Allows someone to view blocks of time as Free, Busy, Tentative, Away. |
Can view titles and locations: |
Allows someone to view your Subject and Location. |
Can view all details: |
Allows someone to view your Subject, Location, Attendees, and Description. |
Can edit: |
Provides read/write/modify access. |
Sharing a Calendar
- Login to FGCU webmail
- At the bottom of the page, select
to go to Calendar.
- Right-click on the calendar you want to share to open the sharing and permissions
- Select sharing and permissions which will then open a new window where you’ll be able to see a list of people sharing the calendar or send a share invitation.
5. Enter the email address of the person you want to share your calendar with and upon entering that e-mail address, a drop-down list will be available next to their name where you can set the permissions for the person to view your calendar.
6. Set the permissions you want the person to have and select the share button to send off the invitation to the person.
7. That person will then be added to the list in the sharing and permissions window where you can edit their access or delete their access to your calendar
8. You can continue adding more people to share your calendar with or you can click the x button to exit out of the sharing and permissions window.
Stop sharing a Calendar
- Right-click on the calendar you are sharing to open the sharing and permissions window
- In the sharing and permissions window, you will see the list of people you've shared your calendar with. Click the
button next to that person's name.
- The person is now removed from the list of people with access to your calendar. Their copy of your calendar will no longer sync to your calendar or receive updates.
