Purpose:
This article outlines steps on how to retrieve your Eagle Access ID after you have claimed your account.
Start Here:
After you have claimed your account, you should have received an e-mail to your personal account titled Your EagleAccess ID - {Eagle Access ID}. Try to find that e-mail From: svcFischer@fgcu.ed as that e-mail will contain your Eagle Access ID.
If you are unable to find the e-mail above, please perform the following steps
Visit https://www.fgcu.edu/myaccount and click on the Change Your Password option:
Step 1: Enter your user information: (Figure 1)
Enter the requested information to identify yourself to the system.
NOTE: The e-mail that you received titled IMPORTANT: Eagle Access Activation should contain all of the information require except for your Date of Birth.
- Legal First Name
- Legal Last Name
- The 9 digit UIN listed in the email you received from FGCU (Numbers only, NO dashes)
- Enter your Date of Birth
- Solve the CAPTCHA
- Click "Submit"
Step 2: Review and accept terms of use (Figure 2)
- Read FGCU's Technology Acceptable Use Policy
- Accept if you agree
Step 3: Enter your security questions (Figure 3)
You will be asked to enter the security questions that you entered earlier when you Claimed your Account
- Enter your three security questions
- Click "Submit" when you are done
Step 4: Eagle Access ID (Figure4)
You will see your Eagle Access ID information, which will be something like the following azuleagle0123

NOTE: When you start this process you YOU DO NOT NEED TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD. Just copy your Eagle Access ID and close the page. You will use @eagle.fgcu.edu or @fgcu as part of your login when completed to access Canvas, EagleMail and/or Gulfline.
