Steps to Add Xerox printer
Once you have the configuration printer, determine which drivers you must install and navigate to Self Service
Install the drivers
Open System Preferences on the dashboard
Open Printers and Scanners
Click on the + sign underneath the list of printers and select Add other printer or scanner
Select IP from the top navigation
Type in the IP address of the network printer (found on the configuration page of the printer)
If you need help finding the IP Address of a network printer, please look at the Article "Find a Printer IP Address".
There is an option to type in the name and the location should automatically populate for the network printer below so that you can recognize it on the list of printers
This will open a new screen called “Add.” In this screen, enter the following information for these sections.
a. Enter the IP Address for Address
b. Select “Line Printer Daemon – LPD” for Protocol
c. Do not enter anything for Queue
d. Enter the PRN number for Name
e. The position of the printer will auto populate for Location
f. The drivers will auto populate for Use
Click “Add”
It will set up the printer for the user
