Connecting to eduroam is as easy as 1-2-3.
Step 1: Select the eduroam network > Step 2: Authenticate > Step 3: Connect

Apple iOS Setup Overview
The screenshots below may vary slightly depending upon your device version, but the process should be identical regardless of the iOS version.
Note: If your device is already connected to the eduroam network, you will need to "forget" it before reconnecting when an update or issues occur. Go to Wi-Fi settings and touch the "i" icon listed to the right of eduroam and select Forget This Network.
Unable to "Forget This Network"? If this option is not available for you, you will need to delete the eduroam profile from your device.
- Navigate to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management.
- Remove any existing profile related to eduroam - work or school accounts.
- Once the profile is removed, attempt to connect again following the steps below.
Step 1: Select the eduroam Network

Select the eduroam network by going to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Tap eduroam from the list of available networks.
Step 2: Authentication

Enter your Eagle email and password, and tap Join.
Note: Faculty/Staff will use @fgcu.edu and Students will use @eagle.fgcu.edu -
Then tap Trust.
Step 3: Connection
Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon for eduroam will appear on the status bar.
Android 10 (and later) Setup Overview
The following documentation shows the process of getting your Android 10 (or later) set up to the eduroam wireless network.
Note: If your device is already connected to the eduroam network, you will need to "forget" it before reconnecting when an update or issues occur. Go to Wi-Fi settings and touch the "sprocket" in front of eduroam and select Forget.
Step 1: Select the eduroam Network
- Select the eduroam network by going to Settings > Network & Internet.
- Tap eduroam from the list of available networks.
Step 2: Authentication

Click CA certificate and select Don't validate.

Enter your Eagle email in the Identity text box and your password and click Connect.
Note: Faculty/Staff will use @fgcu.edu and Students will use @eagle.fgcu.edu - Then click Trust.
Note for the Android Google Pixel device: You will need to select Trust when you first connect and also input the the Identity field with your Eagle email, the Anonymous identity field with your Eagle email, and your Eagle password, and then tap the Enter key.
Step 3: Connection

Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon for eduroam will appear.
Windows Setup Overview

Note: If your device is already connected to the eduroam network, you will need to "forget" it before reconnecting when an update or issues occur. Go to Wi-Fi settings by accessing Network & Internet and then Wi-Fi > select "Manage known networks" > select the Forget button to the right of the eduroam network.
Step 1: Select the eduroam Network
Select the eduroam network by going to the Wi-Fi option from the status bar and selecting the eduroam icon.
Step 2: Authentication
Enter your Eagle email and password, and click OK.
Note: Faculty/Staff will use @fgcu.edu and Students will use @eagle.fgcu.edu

Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon for eduroam will appear on the status bar.
Mac OS Overview

Note: If your device is already connected to the eduroam network, you will need to "forget" it before reconnecting when an update or issues occur. Go to Wi-Fi settings > select eduroam from the "Known Network" list > select "Forget This Network..." from the information three dots icon > select Forget.

Select the eduroam network by going to the Wi-Fi option from the status bar and selecting the eduroam icon.
Step 2: Authentication
Enter your Eagle email and password, and click OK.
Note: Faculty/Staff will use @fgcu.edu and Students will use @eagle.fgcu.edu

Once connected, the Wi-Fi icon for eduroam will appear on the status bar.
