How do I download and install the MyFGCU app? The MyFGCU app is available in the Apple and Google stores!Is the MyFGCU app available for both iOS and Android devices? Yes! The MyFGCU app will be available on iOS and Android devices!Who do I contact for app-related issues? If you have any questions or issues, please contact the University Help Desk via email or by calling (239) 590-1188.
How do I report bugs or suggest improvements for the app? You will be able to complete a feedback form provided within the app.
How do I find emergency contact information through the app? Emergency and non-emergency contact information will be available from the Emergency Info icon within the app.
Is there a guest mode for those without university credentials? Yes! Users are not required to log into the app using their FGCU credentials. However, to access personalized class information, students, faculty, and staff should use their FGCU credentials to log in. Users will be able to log in by clicking a head and shoulders icon in the top right corner of the app.What measures are in place to ensure user privacy and security? FGCU policy does not allow the release of personally identifiable information to third parties (other than its agents when required for university business) without the permission of the person identified or as allowed or required by law. We do not sell the information we collect from individual visitors to our websites or digital applications to third parties. The University implements reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to prevent unauthorized access to or use of the information we collect online. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of such electronic data. However, we will only use your information for educational, research, or other purposes in furtherance of the University's mission for which it was provided. How can I receive push notifications for important updates? Push notifications will serve to provide valuable information to users of the mobile app, including updates on local and FGCU emergencies, alerts for severe weather, and reminders for class registration.How do I access additional app settings such as accessibility and font size? Tap your Profile Picture at the top right corner of the app. This gives you access to changing the font size, accessibility settings, and much more.
How do I get back to the main FGCU website from the app? Tap the FGCU Website quicklink to open the FGCU website.
How do I get to the faculty/staff resources in Gulfline and Degree Works? Tap the Gulfline quick link to access the Gulfline/Degree Works website (employee persona).
