This article covers how to install and ensure that the Ivanti Client is properly connected to your machine so that a connection to FGCU's internal network can be made from your own computer and internet connection. In this article you will learn:

How to Install Ivanti Secure Access Client Application
- Navigate to https://myvpn.fgcu.edu/
- You will be prompted to sign in using your full FGCU Eagle Access ID (usually your e-mail address - i.e., user@fgcu.edu) and password.
- Once your username and password have been verified, you will be asked to authenticate yourself using Duo. ITS recommends you use the recommended DUO Mobile app and choose the option Duo Push for the easiest experience.
- The Host Checker will then display following authentication. Select the Open Pulse Secure Application Launcher button from the dialog box. We also recommend checking the Always allow myvpn.fgcu.edu to open links of this type in the associated app check box.

You should be navigated to another page with a blue Download button. Click the Download button
- Run the installer as directed and click OK when it is completed.
- Now click the HERE link

After clicking the HERE option, you should be navigated to a new page asking:
Open Ivanti Secure Application Launcher? Select Open Ivanti Secure Application Launcher - You may at this point be prompted to login again with your account. If not, you can skip steps 9-11 and go straight to How to Connect to Ivanti Client Application After Install within this article

To login, type in your full FGCU Eagle Access ID (usually your e-mail address - i.e., user@fgcu.edu) and password.

You are now in MyVPN.
Attention Mac Users: Following the Ivanti installation, you will be prompted to install a Chromium embedded browser (see below). Click OK to start the installation process.
How to Connect to Ivanti Secure Access Client Application After Install
If Ivanti is already installed and you are ready to make a connection now, you can find the Ivanti icon in your hidden icon section of the taskbar. This area is located in the lower right-hand corner of the taskbar on a Windows PC, and on the top right notification area for a Mac device.
Mac users: Will need to install a Chromium embedded browser following the update and will receive a prompt to do so the next time Ivanti Secure Access VPN is accessed via the client application (see below).
- Select the Connect option; a new window will pop up asking for your FGCU Eagle Access ID (usually your e-mail address - i.e., user@fgcu.edu) and password. After entering your information, please then press Connect.
- To verify that you have connected to FGCU's network, find the Ivanti icon in your icon notifications menu in the lower right corner of the taskbar on a Windows PC and the top right on a Mac.
- If you select the Open Ivanti Secure Access Client option, you should see the screens below depending on the device being used, further letting you know if you are connected or not:
