This article covers how to install and ensure that the Ivanti Client is properly connected to your machine so that a connection to FGCU's internal network can be made from your own computer and internet connection. In this article you will learn:

How to Install Ivanti Client Application
- Navigate to https://myvpn.fgcu.edu/
- You will be prompted to sign in using your FGCU credentials
- Once signed in, find the "Client Application Sessions" section and you should see an option to start an Ivanti connection. Click the "Start" option.

You should be navigated to another page with a blue Download button. Click the Download button
- Run the installer as directed and click OK when it is completed.
- Now click the HERE link

After clicking the HERE option, you should be navigated to a new page asking:
Open Ivanti Secure Application Launcher? Select Open Ivanti Secure Application Launcher - You may at this point be prompted to login again with your account. If not, you can skip steps 9-11 and go straight to How to Connect to Ivanti Client Application After Install within this article

To login, type in your full FGCU Eagle Access ID (your e-mail address - i.e.: user@fgcu.edu) and your email password.

Since the application is tied to DUO 2FA Now, you may get a new window with a prompt for a Secondary Password.

For the Secondary Password, enter one of the following:

- Push: Sends a push login request to the DUO Mobile App on the primary smartphone on your list of DUO registered devices. This option is preferred or recommended for an easier experience.
- The passcode that appears on your DUO Mobile App, e.g., 123456 (with everything in bold being the only thing you type in the secondary password field: This is generated from the DUO Mobile App or can be from a DUO hardware token as well.
- Phone: Calls the primary phone number on your list of DUO-registered devices. When using a phone, DUO will call the top device that has a phone number, which may be a registered smartphone.
Note: If more than one device type (smartphone, landline, etc.) is registered, a number may be added to the end of the secondary password to send requests to a particular device:
Push2: Sends a push request to the second smartphone on your list of registered devices.
Phone2: Calls the second phone number on your list of registered devices:

If push is chosen (as shown above) you will receive a request response from Duo to your device and you can push the response to authenticate.

How to Connect to Ivanti Client Application After Install
- If Ivanti is already installed and you are ready to make a connection now, you can find the Ivanti icon in your hidden icon section of the taskbar. This area is located in the lower right-hand corner of the taskbar on a Windows PC, and on the top right notification area for a Mac device.
- Select the "Connect" option; a new window will pop up asking for your FGCU credentials. After entering your information, please then press "Connect"
- Again, you may receive the Secondary Password Prompt:
- Proceed with entering either "Push," "Phone," or your passcode as "123456" to authenticate with DUO:
If push is chosen (as shown above) you will receive a request response from Duo to your device and you can push the response to authenticate.
- To verify that you have connected to FGCU's network, find the Ivanti icon in your icon notifications menu in the lower right corner of the taskbar on a Windows PC and the top right on a Mac.
- If you select the "Open Ivanti Secure Access Client" option, you should see something like this as well, further letting you know if you are connected or not:
