Sort your email messages in a way that's helpful to you. For example, sort by the name of the sender or the recipient, the date of the email message, its size, and other options.

View Filtering
A view filter involves defining items you want to appear in a particular view to display only items that meet the conditions you specify.
- In the Home tab, select the Filter Email setting
- It will reveal a drop down menu where you will then select More Filters

Click on the More Filters to reveal another drop down menu with more filtering options you can choose from or even make custom filters.
Arrangement Filtering
By default, messages in your inbox and in other folders, are arranged by date in descending order (i.e., the newest message is displayed on top). Outlook provides various ways to arrange messages.
- To access these arrangement options, click on the View tab at the top.
- In the View tab, it will reveal the Arrangement Options you can select to sort your e-mails in your inbox.
