What this article covers
AppsAnywhere is available on and off campus. If you are using a personal computer, you will be able to access software on AppsAnywhere by following these instructions.
AppsAnywhere is only available for Windows computers. If you do not have a Windows computer, you will need to access AppsAnywhere from the FGCU Virtual Lab (myvlab.fgcu.edu).
Accessing AppsAnywhere on a Personal Computer
Step 1: To access AppsAnywhere, please visit https://myapps.fgcu.edu. We recommend using Google Chrome as your web browser.
Step 2: Enter your Eagle Access ID (full FGCU email) and password, and click Sign in to login.
Step 3: Click "It's my first time using AppsAnywhere on this device. Let's go."
Step 5: Your download has started. Click "apps-anywhere-se.....exe"
Step 6: You will receive a box that says, "Welcome to the AppsAnywhere Setup Wizard." Click "Next"
Step 7: Click "Next" to confirm the installation
Step 8: You will receive a pop up: "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device." Click "Yes"
Step 9: Installation is complete. Click "Close"
Step 10: The AppsAnywhere client will pop up saying it's installing the Cloudpaging client
Step 11: Click "Done"
Step 12: Click "Open AppsAnywhere Launcher"
Step 13: The validation process will take a few seconds
Step 14: Validation is complete
Step 15: Hover over an application and click "Launch"
Step 16: Click "Open AppsAnywhere Launcher"
Step 17: The AppsAnywhere client will pop up for a few seconds to request authorization
Step 18: The application has now launched!
