What this article covers
This article outlines the steps to view and manage emails for a shared mailbox. This method also lets you receive notifications of new items in the Inbox of the shared mailbox.
Note: Permission to add a shared Mailbox is provided by ITS; the Mailbox will appear when permission has been granted. If it does not, please sign out of Outlook and then sign back in. The mailbox should appear, if it does not, please contact the University Help Desk at (239) 590-1188 so that they may further assist.
Steps:
- Sign in to your account in Outlook on the web (https://www.outlook.com/fgcu.edu)
- In the upper right corner, you will see your profile image. Please click your profile image and a list of options will appear.
- Click Open another mailbox.
- Type the email address of the mailbox that you want to open, and then click Open.
- If you receive the following error message, please contact the University Help Desk at (239) 590-1188 so that they may further assist.
