Purpose:
This outlines the steps to view and manage emails for a shared mailbox. This method also lets you receive notifications of new items in the Inbox of the shared mailbox.
Note: The shared mailbox should automatically populate on the Outlook desktop client. If it does not, please sign out of Outlook and then sign back in. The mailbox should appear, if it does not, please contact the University Help Desk at (239) 590-1188 so that they may further assist.
Steps:
- Sign in to your account in Outlook on the web (https://www.outlook.com/fgcu.edu)
- To the upper right corner, you will see your initials. Please click your initials and a list of options will appear.
- Click Open another mailbox.
- Type the email address of the mailbox that you want to open, and then click Open.
- In the event that you receive the following error message, please contact the University Help Desk at (239) 590-1188 so that they may further assist.
