FGCU'S SOFTWARE APP STORE

AppsAnywhere is a software delivery method that uses an app store where faculty, staff, and students can access and use their software from any Windows computer, enabling ITS to provide faster application delivery and expands the availability of software for all of FGCU.

WHY APPSANYWHERE?  
The benefit to faculty, staff, and students is that you can access your software from any computer. Other benefits to the campus community are:
  • Cloud-based version offers faster load times, greater reliability, and seamless access to essential software, on or off campus.
  • ITS can offer a wider range of software across campus and even personal devices. We are no longer constrained by software being loaded in specific labs or classrooms.
  • Less wait time for software requests.
  • Ease of updating and maintaining software campus-wide at any time – without major downtime!
  • Deploys software without having to reboot the computer.
